They haven’t disbursed our money that the judge ordered last year. It’s been over 6 months and victims haven’t gotten a penny while the funds are in their hands. They don’t give us any information and refuse to give us an accurate timeline. They don’t seem to care or have any regards about the victims and have left us in the dark ever since the court hearings. It’s an absolute disgrace how slow and unprofessional they’ve been regarding these issues and no one even reaches out to us to keep us updated - even when we call, we get very vague responses from the clerks and treat us with very little value

The courthouse parking guard told me to park across the street at the meter, that I would be allowed to leave every two hours to repay (2 hour limit at meters). I asked if he was sure, because I was here for jury duty. He said yes, absolutely. He was WRONG. After navigating a block of construction and labyrinthine ramps, I found the jury check-in, where I was told I could NOT leave every two hours, so my car would be towed if I didn’t move it, thereby making me late for service.

The lady also told me to park at Horton Plaza and gave some directions how to get there. What she did NOT tell me was that there are two entrances, and one of them, the closest entrance and most expensive of the two, does NOT accept courthouse validation. So now I am out $20 for driving an hour to get here, and now it’s 12:30, and nothing has happened.

I am sitting here watching the giant TVs, and high are playing commercials including POLITICAL PROPAGANDA for some of the CA propositions on the ballot. That does not seem right to me, to have a captive audience for a federal jury exposed to political ads for only on side of the issue.

I was all ready to do my civic duty. Now I’m just irritated that actual employees don’t know what they’re talking about. Really frustrated.

Please more hearings by Virtual! they are more convenient for the public since your staff eats up all the public parking! It's impossible for people to make it to their hearings around these courthouses because there is never parking. This is why all courts should be obligated to let the public and parties attend by virtual.

Hours are kinda weird and the DJ sucks, but there's no cover. The bouncers are hardcore and don't mess around. Tried to leave and they said I had to give them some money or they'd lock me up... Total shake down. There's way better clubs in the downtown area so I'll be avoiding this one at all costs in the future.

Nice new federal court house, similar to newer buildings ive seen in other districts, tucson, for example. Judges can be in this court house or the one across the way. Make sure you bring a valid photo id and arrive in advance to clear the metal detector. Try to clean out your bag of wires and such and leave them in your car.
