Like Jon said on here: "The Sonoma County Courthouse is the epicenter" of legal related stuff in Sonoma County. Most the clerks are helpful, some not so helpful but that's the way it is with county stuff.

Quick and easy visit, helpful clerk. She was polite and helpful, which was refreshing compared to other county's courts (not that I make a habit of visiting them!)

Alison Shaffer

Yazmin (I hope I'm spelling that right.) Was very friendly and helpful with me as we worked to find a case for my team's client. She and the other clerks were professional, happy, and very kind.

Jordan Wegner

Phone tree does not ever actually connect you to a person. Spent more than an hour on the phone going through every option, in order to appeal a ticket- and they are all set up to never allow you to request a court date. Horrendously inefficient.

The Sonoma County Courthouse is the epicenter of the Sonoma County Administrative Offices along Administrative Drive. Also in the area is the Sheriff's Main Adult Detention Facility, the Sheriff's Department, the Law Library, the District Attorney's Office, the Public Defender's Office, the Sonoma County Probation Office and all other Country-related business. Most important is the Clerk's offices are also located here for Criminal cases as well as Civil cases. The clerks are terrific at helping people needing information and assisting attorneys in filing motions and getting client information. There are computers located in their offices where you can check the status of present and past cases for everyone that has ever been through the system.

Across the street on Cleveland Avenue near and adjacent to Empire Law School are the Civil Courtrooms and the Family Law Center.

So... Over a month ago, i filed a Small Claims and mailed it off to the SCSC, and weeks later over a course of a month i called a couple times, and each time they told me ? "" ?.
Well, today i went to my bank to see if the Cashier's check i sent to SCSC (that was with my paperwork) was cashed, and they told me it was deposited- almost a month ago.
You know what they call it when someone takes your money with the intent to deceive or lie another individual?
That's called FRAUD.
And yes, i will be ?. ⚖️

This is the Sonoma County courthouse, located in Santa Rosa, where you go to resolve most DUI arrests, as well as other kinds of criminal (and civil) cases in Sonoma County. Traffic, probation, jury services, and court administration are also located here. Family Court is on the other side of the freeway next to Empire College. The criminal court staff is the most pleasant in the building, knowledgeable and helpful to attorneys and defendants, particularly at the criminal clerk’s office, which is located on the first level inside the courtyard, where you can go to get information and documentation about your case. The Sonoma County Superior Court judges are elected and serve at the will of the people of Sonoma County, and are generally perceived by Sonoma County DUI lawyers as bright and tough but fair.

Uneducated in current up to date findings, inexperienced in proceedings, inefficient, and closeminded. The unprofessional assumptions made by court officials are damaging and destructive. I will say that Ms. Brady is an excellant public defender, and i hope this is because she studies Law, and chooses to be well informed about the field she is in. Again she was the exception to the rule when it came to court officials for me
There needs to be a major overhaul of the Superior Court here . so much waste and dereliction of duty. God Forbid,
