My experience with the Manteca Court Civil Court Clerks, is not good. When I called the clerk to inquire about what they called a “defective” proof of service, the clerk was extremely rude on the phone and hung up on me. When I called to speak with a supervisor i was questioned repeatedly what my question was for the supervisor, before I was placed .m on hold for over 10 minutes. When the supervisor answered I could hear the clerk that hung up on me, telling the supervisor what to say to me. Then the supervisor was argumentative with me how her clerk has never had a complaint and it must be me. I went into the Manteca Clerk’s office the following day and was met with unpleasant, unprofessional behavior. Honestly, am just beside myself how rude and confrontational the clerks are. My clients, who are the plaintiffs in a case said they have been treated poorly every time they have gone into the clerks office. This is a travesty how tax paying citizens are being treated in a Superior Court Clerks Office.

I haven’t been here once where they’ve started on time. Thankfully the staff is somewhat friendly some times, but starting an hour or two late EVERY TIME, gets way old, way fast.

This court house is terrible, judge Sparks is very unfair and took the officer's side. I seriously did not feel heard. Thanks now as a single mother with 2 kids on one income to pay almost $300 is very inconvenient and she even said I cannot get an attorney for this case because it's an infraction. So I'm just stuck paying this ticket which I think was unfair when the officer saw me before stopping me and pulled over just waiting there to stop me. Tracy has the worst signs displayed and when I tried to explain how the signs are hard to understand when they show multiple signs and you just don't know what to go by she said pretty much that's my fault. Wow! If you have a case here please ask to have it moved somewhere else, cause your explanation doesn't matter to them.

They never open/start Dept M1 on time...scheduled to be here at 830am and just now allowed to go inside, almost 2 hea late!!

I found them to be responsive. There was practically no wait until someone answered the phone for me, and the clerk was helpful in answering my questions about court procedures.
