Staff is rude, no way to reach the court by phone, it’s just a long message telling you that no one is available after 2pm even if you call at all open hours, then hangs up. There’s no way to schedule a court date online. When requesting processes online, it takes 30 days to be received and looked at. I had to drive 2 hours to sit for an hour waiting on a traffic clerk to give me a court date. The woman talked over me fr the moment I opened my mouth and just kept saying “what do you want me to do?!”
If I had the opportunity to say what’s going on and ask what my options are, I would know.

“Due process” is a joke here.

I would stay away from this court house, it’s unsafe, the management has locked doors on the upper levels to prevent employees and the public to escape the building in case of a fire or other emergency, they have made it so you can not escape the upper floors to balconies in case of a fire, they have locked the doors by basically screwing the closed… this place is unsafe….

I'm familiar with this courthouse due to filing for a divorce. The family law department is very helpful and knowledgeable. And efficient .They have made this experience easy and not as frustrating as I thought it would be

Not mentioning any names, my fiance and I had one of the worst experiences with the court systems I could have ever imagined. Everything about it is corrupt. I am all about giving everyone and everything a fair chance. And when I had gotten arrested for something I didn't even do, and they forced us into a felony guilty plea, and also lied about opening documents that only the judge was supposed to open, (and she backed it to), we tried appealing our guilty plea so we could get a fair trial, the way it should have been and they denied it. So here comes the part that I didn't want to have to do, but they messed with the wrong two innocent people. Stay tuned....

DISGUSTING, FAMILY COURT IS A JOKE HERE. But they'll remember us the day something bad happens to our child, cause I'll make it public and take it to the supreme court if I have to. beyond unprofessional, they love to belittle people and act like they know whats good for your child even if it means putting them back in DANGER cause they can.. these judges dont learn from past things that have happened to children cause a judge wouldn't listen, what is the point of your job!?
if I had the power to take your job ill do it in a heart beat, a disgrace to the justice system if there is one...

As a potential juror, there are some things you ought to know about the experience. First, it is not designed with you in mind. If you accept that as an objective fact, you stand a fighting chance of surviving the process.
While there is currently (October 2022) road work on Hwy 111 right outside the Larson Justice Center that that may or may not be done when you come, it adds about 20 minutes to your arrival.
After that, parking is an unmitigated disaster. Most immediately surrounding the building is gone by 7:30. With that in mind, you’re left to either PAY in a private garage structure or park in a time limited lot. A check will say they won’t ticket, but who knows for sure and I doubt tos person is going to reimburse you if they do ticket.
Expect to go through a body scanner to enter the building. At rush hour this is slow at best. You MAY NOT bring a glass (Pyrex) food container with, say, your lunch, even though they have a microwave to reheat food. Speaking of food, there are very few restaurants in the area. Those that are get MOBBED at lunch. So, if you are lucky enough to get a parking spot, it may or may not be there when you return from driving somewhere for food.
Bring reading material, but you cannot use electronics in the courtroom. They have wifi in the halls and the waiting rooms. But that’s it.
All in all, buckle up and ride it out.

Indio is home to the Riverside County Justice System. Including Superior Court it is convenient if you are living in Indio. Air Conditioning is just OK. I had jury duty service. And make sure you don't even bring a lighter through the screening. It is not allowed!
Plenty of parking and all other ticket matters can be handled here as well!
