During this covid-19 pandemic I had caught in a cold on January 25th I had Court on January 28thI went to court and had a temperature of 95.2 and was told I was not allowed to enter the building and was told to wait outside while it was raining for my public defenderthen they told me I was not allowed to enter because I had a coldwas given the option to go but because my case is already shady to say the least. I did not feel it was in my best interest to leave. Was told I would just have to wait outside in the rain. Pretty despicable. I have seen the corruption within the judicial system.

Visited all 3 locations many many times. Family court and divorce court are usually in Monterey. Criminal court is in Salinas and traffic court was in King City but moved to a much nicer looking location in Marina. All 3 locations have many visitors daily, from open to close. I recommend professional business attire only. I've noticed the Salinas location has lots of lawyers in cheap untailored suits. In all fairness though, they are over worked, under paid, and most of them are paying back large school loans. For those with scheduled court appearances, please be respectful and dress accordingly. I have seen people show up in pajamas, pajama bottoms and a wifebeater, slippers ,tennis shoes and ripped jeans, or tee shirts with no sleeves. Wake up people, you are going to court, dress accordingly. Parking is tight in Salinas and Monterey. If you arrive late for the show, they will not wait for you. You will lose your tickets, your seats and possibly your freedom. Do not make eye contact with anyone dressed in orange, it is frowned upon. Leave shiny, sharp metal objects at home. Remember, some people who may have come with you, wont be leaving with you. Overall, fun and educational
A great place to bring the kiddies. Memories to last a lifetime.

The judge lied in open court, lied about jurisdiction and has no respect for our laws or Constitution.
The pro se program is a scam because the proof can't be covered up. Disappointment after the corrupt federal courts in this county over 4 years while wasting my precious time.

Wish they were easier to get ahold of. I’m a homeless disabled 28 year old veteran and wrote them a letter explaining why I never received their hearing date and haven’t heard back from them, but they doubled the price of my fine and sent it to collections. Yeah fun.

The rooms are constantly changing times without notifying people. We came in at our set time of 8 am and were pushed back to 10 am. I expect our civil servants to be more punctual and clear with directions.

Be prepared to hire an attorney if you want to be proven innocent....commissioners seem not to give people without attorney's any grace/understanding. Was in there for over ten hearings and was able to observe just from one day. 🙁

Me encanto el servicio, iva por caso familiar y la corte se salinas solo es para casos criminales, pero la persona que me atendió me dijo que ahí casi a media cuadra de distancia esta una extensión de la corte de monterey, y ahí puedes pasar a dejar documentos.
