It was frustrating having to first find this new improved court building. But when I was in the right area it beautifully stands out. North Richland Hills is finally putting those tax payers dollars to use. Could be one of the reasons why a motorcycle cop needed to make his quota and politely gave me a ticket for going 11 miles over the limit ?. Maybe their needing extra funds to keep the lights on. Guess giving a warning for good driving record and looking cute doesn't cut it these days ?. With a skeleton crew of workers inside and 1 clerk at the window to assist. So sad how NRHMC is still only doing court (at least for tickets) via Zoom. What a waste of not using this new building during the ease of Covid.

Horrible horrible city! Don't ever drive through here or go to this court house. They are money hungry and they don't care what they do to your lives.

I got hit by a woman on the service road who totaled out my car. The cop, if you can even call him that, disregarded the other driver but pin pointed me out, claiming I was the cause of the accident when I clearly told the officer that the other driver failed to have her head lights on, and she was texting and driving. He was obviously out to gain his commission and he obviously was after women. He had brought 3 others girls into the jail who ended up being dismissed because their was no reason for them to be there. Don't ever back the blue in this. Crooked city. They don't deserve it.

So today I went to the court to take care of my expired registration ticket. Since I had paper work showing I renewed my registration, I paid a $20 fine for it to be dismissed . As im there, the clerk tells me I have an active warrant from 2016 that I need to take care of (Failure to make complete stop at a stop sign) . I asked him how is that possible when no one has notified me? I’ve been pulled over 3 times and not once has an officer mentioned it. Also, I have been a Class-A CDL driver going on 3 years. The Department of Transportation would not have allowed me my license with an active warrant . I have to be in compliance with DOT at all times & my employers run a motor vehicle report before they can hire me. Not once has this warrant shown up.

Back to the REAL problem. The police officer on duty comes out of the office and lets me know that I need to take care of the ticket from 2016 or else I will be put into CUSTODY. Mind you I have my 8 year old with me & Im still confused at this point from not being notified, ever. The ticket was $388.00 . Despite being in the dark about it for YEARS, I asked if there’s a way I can be put on a payment plan. The officer told me no and that I am not able to leave until I pay it. So basically, I was going to be put into custody for a minor traffic violation years ago that I had no idea was out there and if I didn’t then he was going to arrest me in front of my son .

North Richland Hills needs to do better. There’s no way I would have been approved for my class A with an active warrant from almost 10 years ago. I do NOT back the blue when it comes to North Richland hills police department. What I experienced today was awful & the lack of understanding was nothing than disappointing. I had the money, but this is more about the principal. North Richland hills PD clearly needs the money more than I do

Supreme Court has already ruled traveling on U.S. Roadways is permitted without Drivers License, Insurance and Vehicle Registration as is Texas Law Texas Transportation Code Section 502.003 Registration of a vehicle in a political subdivision is prohibited:
Current with legislation from the 2023 Regular and Special Sessions signed by the Governor as of November 21, 2023.
Section 502.003 - Registration By Political Subdivision Prohibited
(a) Except as provided by Subsection (b), a political subdivision of this state may not require an owner of a motor vehicle to:
(1) register the vehicle;
(2) pay a motor vehicle registration fee; or
(3) pay an occupation tax or license fee in connection with a motor vehicle.
(b) This section does not affect the authority of a municipality to:
(1) license and regulate the use of motor vehicles for compensation within the municipal limits; and
(2) impose a permit fee or street rental charge for the operation of each motor vehicle used to transport passengers for compensation, other than a motor vehicle operating under a registration certificate from the department or a permit from the federal Surface Transportation Board.
(c) A fee or charge under Subsection (b) may not exceed two percent of the annual gross receipts from the vehicle.
(d) This section does not impair the payment provisions of an agreement or franchise between a municipality and the owners or operators of motor vehicles used to transport passengers for compensation. In August 2023 I was pulled over for Traveling by the North Richland Hills Police for no insurance and d Registration both Class C Misdemeanors under Texas Law are Fine only no Imprisonment. Yet the officers unlawfully seized and towed my personal Automobile without probable cause or a warrant or judges order signed by a clerk or magistrate of the court. The towing company after 3 weeks of non payment completely crushed and. Compacted my car. As well as per the 5th amendment when the police seize property for public use. Which is everything they size in the course of their duties because they are being funded by tax payer dollars. They are suppose to compensate me fair market value of the property they seized unlawfully which they did not. Don't even get me started about the North Richland Hills Municipal Court. North Richland Hills Police Department you are an Abomination and an embarrassment to all public servants sworn to protect our God Given American Rights and to every other good and honorable Cop carrying a badge. You are an Abomination and embarrassment to We The People and the Community in which you serve. Be put on Notice North Richland Hills that We The People can alter and abolish our form of government at will as we see fit which is guaranteed in the Bill Of Rights that protects the free and Sovereign Inhabitants of the Unincorporated Land upon and therein The United States of America. God Bless this Country and Freedom from Tyranny and Lies!!!!

Worst city in Texas reminds me of Lancaster in Fort worth wouldn't move to the its a bunch of hillbillies in monkey suites. They think they're city is NY or something not to mention the police department reminds me of Compton.

The absolute worst!!! Words can't describe the bias that is shown as soon as you walk in the door...I've never seen such horrible customer service in my life but Pantegois a strong runner up if that explains it...! DO NOT GO HERE!!! They will lie to get you to come in to take care of ticket under a false president that arrangements can be made only to demand money or be taken into custody!!! Thank God I didn't let my son go alone....

The biggest money racquet I have ever seen in my life. On any given day the line to pay a ticket or see a judge is backed up for a good hour (by the way the judge is there 1.5 hours during 2 blocked times once a week) leaving you at the most inconvenience. They have 5 payment windows just for citations. As I'm waiting in line more people are piling in by the droves. The best thing I can say is stay away from this city there's nothing good to come from it!

I got in a wreck in the rain cause another car cut me off. My moms car could barely hit 60 mph cause it's messed-up. The stupid ass cop had the audacity to charge me with "failure to control speed". By the way, the speed limit was 60 mph.
