Modifying the behavior of our Australian Shepherd definitely had its challenges. Our Veterinarian referred us to Jim and Tammy. Our dog had anxiety coupled with, stubbornness, disobedience, leash pulling and aggression, very territorial and protective when there was no need for it, and way too smart for his own good. While he is still very smart, Jim and Tammy managed to compartmentalize good behaviors and we now have a very smart but obedient dog who listens to our commands. Our ongoing training has involved us from the start and we couldn’t be happier with the results thus far. We still have some work to do and we are looking forward to the next phase of training. But I can tell you we have a different dog since we started training with Jim and Tammy. Thank you for your expertise in training us and our furry pal! We’re forever grateful.

I found Jim & Tammy on Google when I was desperately searching for help for my rescue chihuahua. I chose them based on their years of experience & when we met for our consultation they immediately understood my dogs aggressive behaviors. He had been through training courses previously, that just made his behaviors worse. We recently completed our training course with them and he is a brand new dog!! He went from being on the brink of behavioral euthanasia to being able to live a life FULL of joy and fun activities. It brings tears to my eyes being able to see him enjoy living life. I am so grateful to them for the techniques they taught us to help my baby. They are truly life savers!

Jim and Tammy trained two of our dogs. They did such an amazing job with the first, we took our next dog to them also. Our daughter and several of our friends used them and were extremely happy with the results. Our dogs loved both of them and are much more well behaved in every way since graduating. Like anything you need to practice the training at home and be consistent for the training to be fully effective. Highly recommend Jim and Tammy!

When you work with Jim & Tammy, you have friends and coaches for life! We hired Jim & Tammy to help us train our puppy 2 years ago. Jim came to our home and worked with my husband, my kids and myself to ensure that we ALL knew how to train and work with out dog. He was available any time we had a question. We have the most behaved and loving dog. She is a member of our family that is able to go with us anywhere and all who know her, love her! We credit Jim and Tammy for teaching us to be good dog owners. AND we just adopted a second pup, and Jim spoke to us on the phone to "review" any questions we had about training and helping to acclimate her to life with our older dog. My wife and I decided to get a new puppy last year to give our older dog a companion. So we adopted a Germann Short Haired Pointer knowing it would be high energy. Oh boy is she ever High Energy and did we need help with her. So my wife started looking into dog trainers she called a number of them and kind of did interviews on the phone. She was able to weed out a lot of people that said the were trainers but really didn’t seem to have much knowledge about actually training dogs. One of the phone interviews was with Jim of Jim & Tammy The Dog Experts. She was very impressed by his knowledge and so we had them come to our home so we could meet them and introduce the dogs. After meeting Jim and Tammy and spending some time getting to know them and them instantly warming up to our dogs we hired them to help us with training our new puppy. They worked on training the dog and thought us what we needed to do each week for home work! We made great progress with our training and then we hit summer time and life got very crazy and very hot. So we stopped working with our dogs training for the summer and you can really tell that we made a mistake by doing that. We can’t wait to schedule our next training time with Jim and Tammy and get back on track. We are investing in our dogs and there training because it gives the dogs and our family a much better quality of life having well behaved dogs!! We want friends and family to feel comfortable when coming to are house for a visit and not have miss behaving dogs. Thanks to Jim and Tammy the dog experts for the life long training and friendships we now have!!

I have a 3 year old Catahoula mix. She has pulled me down to the ground twice going after cats or rabbits. I am not old but too old to be falling down after about a month of training in the house following Jim and Tammy's Direction Suva was coming along very quickly except for outside with cats and rabbits. I called Jim one day very upset thinking that I was going to have to get rid of my dog. They ensured me that Suva would be wonderful and we started off-leash training the next week. From the very first off leash training Suva was a different dog. Now just a couple of weeks later she is my lifetime partner all due to Jim and Tammy's training. I cannot say how grateful and thankful and blessed I am to have Jim and Tammy in my life. As others have mentioned on these reviews they are angels from God, they are my friends my trainers and I am eternally grateful. Suva listens and behaves consistently. She is also happier knowing what I want and I am ecstatic. We have such a good time together I will never be able to thank Jim and Tammy appropriately. Jim and Tammy were nothing short of miracle workers with our puppy! Under their expert direction, in the short span of a few months our pup was transformed into a docile, obedient dog on whose behavior we constantly receive compliments. I highly recommend their training regime - trust me, you’ll never look back!
