On August 26, 2024 this Court granted emergency dependency of Marcie Gail Smiths children who she abandoned on 10/12/2023. However, when the cys employees who are named on a criminal complaint found out that the information was being leaked, they interfered with the official proceeding. They had me removed as plaintiff and I was not there to testify on the children’s behalf. I am an experienced foster mother from dauphin county who cared for the Smith children for five days after they were neglected and abandoned in awful condition. The children were released to me by the Harrisburg police department and cys is covering up the crimes to protect their reputation and careers. Marisa McClellan should be prosecuted along with Lisa Wheeler, Scott Smith, Noelle Barrett, and K Deibler.

I had to go to the Prothonotary's office today with an appeal. The woman who helped me was sent down from God. She helped me through all the paperwork and sorted the papers in order, I had no idea my papers were out of order, and was super calm and accommodating. I am grateful for her help. Nice calm atmosphere. Thank you if your reading this.

Police and Correctional officers treat people good here, and Judge Cherry is a blessing to the United States justice system, definitely learned from my mistakes.

I was standing in line to enter the courthouse once. The man standing in front on me had a tattoo on his leg that read "Only God Can Judge Me" ? I didn't have he heart to tell him.

Sheriff Nicholas Chimienti Jr. and his deputies are perfect examples of what civil servants should be. They are utmost professionals in their duties to help and serve their citizens, as wells as visitors.

I visited the office of the Prothonotary seeking guidance regarding the process of changing my child's last name. As a newcomer to the area, I believed that the courthouse would be a suitable starting point. To summarize, I was unaware that I had entered the incorrect county courthouse. No one explicitly informed me that in order to file a petition for a name change, it is imperative to ensure that the filing takes place in the county of residence. My petition included my address, and it would have been helpful if someone had informed me about the incorrect county. Despite collecting a fee of $200, my petition was denied due to the filing being in the wrong county. It is worth noting that this courthouse is merely a 15-minute drive from my home, and I genuinely had no idea that I was in the wrong county when submitting my petition. It would be greatly appreciated if they could transfer my case to the appropriate county. It is disheartening to witness the lack of assistance provided by the staff. They merely accept payment and documentation without truly addressing the concerns and questions of the people seeking help.
I also wanted to bring to your attention an another issue I encountered while requesting a refund at your office. I approached the woman behind the desk and inquired about the process for requesting a refund. Specifically, I asked if there were any forms that I needed to print out. She explicitly informed me that I only needed to handwrite a letter in black and white, explaining the reason for my refund request and the purpose of filing a petition.

However, upon visiting my county office and explaining the situation, they provided me with a form to fill out for the refund petition. To my disappointment, my request was denied by Dalphin County, as they mentioned that I had used Cumberland County's form. Note that my petition with Cumberland Valley was forms from Dalphin County, and they gave me no problem. It is important to note that the forms provided were fill-in-the-blank, which greatly facilitated the process and ensured a professional presentation of my refund petition.

Subsequently, I received a letter instructing me to visit the Dolphin County website and print out the necessary forms, contrary to what the lady in your office had informed me. I am reaching out to you in the hopes of resolving this misunderstanding and obtaining the correct forms for my refund request.

I greatly appreciate your prompt attention to this matter, as it has caused me significant inconvenience. They can kindly let visitors know the appropriate steps to rectify this situation and obtain the correct forms as soon as possible.

Had to go to the Registar of Wills office. Not only were they courteous but I actually had 2 people help me to navigate the daunting process of a recent death. They were pleasant and did not rush me at all. That was very much appreciated.
