The lagrange power show is this weekend- sept 20-22.
If you like machines, engines of all types, old steam powered equipment and flea market browsing you will have a great day sharing in the secret life of machines. This is a great place to share stories and discover history trivia related to the shows theme. Food, friendly folks, and fun all await you at the lagrange power show.

The fair was excellent and every way possible 5stars for that one.
But you get a 2 star for untrained and rude volunteers working in the parking lot. The lady in the parking lot area for the handicap was very rude and disrespectful along with her supervisor which is also very rude. Also volunteers were not wearing their uniforms for out in the parking lot which includes a safety fluorescent vest that they’re supposed to wear at all times while being out there directing traffic so they do not get hit by a car at all. I have gone to fairs for years and never have seen it this way.
Also the handicap parking spaces are way too big in my general opinion at other fares they’ve been a little bit more decent and they should have a doesn’t need to drop off zone or wheelchairs and motor scooters for anyone that needs handicap assistance like they do at most fairs. They could’ve fit at least nine cars on each side more than they had in that area the lines are just too far apart. I was also judge A trailer hitch for a handicap trailer and said that my trailer may have been too small for that spot whenever I told him it reached out to the edge of the parking spot he complained that his doesn’t do that in his does at the office at direction and I said well do you want me to prove that I have a scooter in here so it doesn’t get stolen or what.
I know that they’re just volunteers but if they’re going to be rude and disrespectful then they really need to learn protocol on how to handle difficult situations I was trying to be nice and kind to the lady but at the same time I asked her if she had a uniform or badge to show that she worked at the fair or volunteered I mean. Didn’t mean to be rude to her but if she doesn’t wear a vest how can I know that she’s not lying or being rude and angry just because I look too young to be in the handicap zone.
PS: The guy in charge of the parking lot area asked me if I was leaving at that moment just to get rid of me very rude and disrespectful.

It’s a fair! Meets expectations. Entry prices keep getting higher, but it’s not too bad. Certain ages are free. Lots of different food vendors this year. Decent amount of places to sit compared to other fairs I’ve been to. Ride tickets are comparable to similar events. Lots for kids to do… animals to see, farm equipment to explore, etc. Handicapped parking area is paved… the rest is dirt and you better know what you’re getting into so you can get out! But that’s standard for most fairs.

This dump needs to make the entrance to the unreserved pits KNOWN!!! There is no sign, nothing. And there's not directions given in the tickets either. There's a hidden crevice between concessions that you have to enter but unless you know where that is, you'll be in circles all night. Also the announcer for events speaks yapanese and LOVES to hear himself talk. 0/10

Fantastic. They raised the price of tickets from $4 to $8 which i wasn't a fan of but I like going every year. Got some good information, and the food is always worth getting. Will be back next year.

It was our first time with my family coming to Lorain County Fair and we had a great time! Our daughter had fun seeing different animals. We will definitely coming back next year and do this as our annual fair place to go.

WOW! Blew my socks off! Huge fair and fabulous fun time and Tons of different tasy food choices! The fair was the bomb! So much to do and see.
