I have never hated an orthodontist office so much in my entire life. It’s basically just a bunch of people who barely know what they’re doing fooling around in your mouth. I don’t know how many times they have cut, damaged, or bruised my gums. If you have the option I would go nowhere near this place there are 100% better ortho’s to go to who will give you a much more pleasant experience. Half the time the people are rude or have you sitting there forever waiting in the chair cause they’re too busy talking about stuff not relating to work at all. I pray for anybody who plans on trusting these people with their teeth.

Orthodontic experts is a good place to go to if you live in Algonquin. They do have some areas to improve on but their staff is very polite. One negative is that they don't have lots of options for next visits.

If I could, I wouldn't give this place any stars. The people at the desk aren't friendly at all. My daughter needed braces due to an impacted canine and straightening her teeth. She's had braces for over 2 years. The gaps in her teeth aren't closed and don't appear to have gotten closer together at all. Her canine is still stuck up in her gums, not coming down. And they ended up recommending removal of the braces for "the health of her teeth" and closing out her treatment plan. I argued closing her treatment plan because nothing got fixed, but I got nowhere. Iwas forced to sign a liability form in order for them to remove her braces. These people should be shut down. They got their money, and our insurance won't cover another round of orthodontic treatment.

I can’t wait to be done with this place. My daughter and I dread every time we come here. They are petty about every single thing scheduling is a nightmare it’s not on your time it’s on theirs. Payments are hectic if you want to change something a card or due date they make it difficult. Please save your time and money don’t come here for the savings because you will not save yourself from the hassle. Also staff needs to be more professional (front desk)Algonquin location. One morning I came in and sat in the chairs where the sun was I was so uncomfortable and hot so I moved my chair to the corner where the tv was (shaded) and I was told to move my chair back and I couldn’t sit there for “safety reasons” I asked what is the safety issue I’m not blocking anything and they said something about the tv. Again petty and rude I just sat in my car didn’t feel welcomed.

If I can help someone with their health, money, and time, I will. This location is fairly priced compared to their competitors, but it is not worth it. Each visit, you have a different Dr. Check in on you. Imagine treating something permanent in your body and having different doctors trade you off for every treatment. Would you be comfortable with that if you were treating a different part of your body? I was left uncertain about taking off aligners but was assured that the permanent retainers would fix it. When it didn't, 2 months later, I went to address my concerns and was told it would cost me $250 for a consultation to begin treatment again. They said that once treatment is over, you have to pay to be seen. Otherwise, I would not be able to see anyone. This was simply to point out that my teeth had not shifted because of the retainers. Be aware that you are not able to contact anyone after treatment is over without paying that amount. Other orthodontist offices will see you 2 years after removal to see if there are any changes that need to be fixed as your teeth adjust. My own dentist told me that I would need further treatment and consult with other orthodontists. Dentists get minimal, if any, study in the area of orthodontic treatment, and even he could see the issue.
