They tried their best. The agents are helpful and patient, but unfortunately couldn't get me a good deal. I am guessing that depends on the insurance company and not the agents. The rating is for agents I spoke to. But because I couldn't get what I was looking for that's why 2 less stars.. else would have given 5 stars.

Sandra Gavan was awesome and I was glad I could provide her a good laugh on a Monday. The call was quick connecting with a broker and after 30 minutes I had an application in my email for signature.

Rates.ca is legit, I got my tenant insurance quote in a matter of 5-10 minutes of filling out my info. I saved 50% of my insurance in Barrie, there's a note on my account to get a bundled discount when I add my auto in the new year.

Awesome experience!!
I’m 63 years old, and have had car insurance for almost 47 years.

After 30 years and no claims with my (now ex) insurance broker, my first time having a few (ooops) speeding tickets, and they treat me like I’m a plague!!? Wanted over $6000.00 per year, on a 7 year old car!! My premiums were quadrupled!!?

My new agent now, Adam S, was awesome to work with. He was articulate, efficient, and we worked things out seamlessly!, not to mention he saved me over $900.00 per year!! I will never go back to the big buck dealers, both their brokers and the companies!

Highly recommend these people, as they seem to respect that we’re all human, and I was definitely treated that way!!!

On another note, lesson learned tho… fight those tickets!!!
